At Southall Summer Camp, we believe in striking the perfect balance between excitement and education. Our camp is a vibrant haven where your child can explore new interests, develop essential skills, and unleash their creativity in a nurturing and engaging environment.
Each day, our campers will embark on a journey filled with captivating activities that focus on one or more of the following topics: Mindfulness, Creativity, Communication, Teamwork, Sports, and Education. Through these carefully curated themes, your child will have the opportunity to challenge themselves, build confidence, and forge lasting friendships while having an absolute blast.
Location: Khalsa Primary School, Norwood Green, UB2 4LA.
Age criteria: Children must be between school Year 2 – Year 9 to attend.

When is the Southall Summer Camp?
The camp will take place from July 29th to August 2nd, 2024.
Where is the camp?
The camp is held at Khalsa Primary School, Norwood Hall in Southall.
How much does it cost?
The price varies as we get closer to the camp dates, ranging from £30 to £45.
What are the camps available?
Southall Summer Camp (Ages 7-14): July 29 – August 2
Next Gen Camp (Ages 14-18): July 29 – August 2
Sports Camp (Ages 8-16): August 19 – 23
Is this camp safe?
Yes, the camp is safe. We have trained professional teachers, health and safety staff on-site, a safeguarding lead, and a SEND lead, all with extensive real-world experience to ensure a high-quality experience for all participants. Additionally, comprehensive risk assessments are conducted to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved.
Will my child be required to bring a packed lunch?
No. All lunch, drinks and snacks are provided to all campers. Menu of the week will be emailed to all those who have registered. But if you would like your child to bring their own packed lunch then parents are welcome to do so if they wish.
My child has an allergy, will appropriate food be provided?
When you register please make sure you specify all allergy information. We will endeavour to cater for all campers, but if there are any concerns we will contact you prior to the camp to discuss further details. As a rule, all food and snacks given will be vegetarian, egg free and nut free products.
What times will the camp be running?
The camp will start WITH A SOFT START BETWEEN 8:30 and 8:50Pm. THE DAY WILL START promptly at 9am and finish at 4:00pm. Punctuality for pick up and drop off is essential to get the most out of the camp. There will be no provision for the children to be kept after 4pm. Entrance to THE SCHOOL classrooms will be locked after 9:00am as all campers and Sevadars will be in the CLASSROOMS by then.
What do I need to bring?
Sports gear (appropriate clothing and shoes)
Sunscreen
Any necessary personal items (e.g., medications, medical forms)
Can I volunteer and/or stay with my child?
Yes, we encourage volunteering to support the camp as well as a way to stay with your child. All volunteers are required to undergo DBS checks to ensure the safety of all participants. Please find the volunteer form on our website at www.sgsss.org/camp
Why doesn’t the Date of Birth (DOB) field work?
The DOB field might not work if your child does not meet the age requirement for each specific camp.
Why are some year groups full?
We have a certain capacity for each year group to ensure even sized age groups.
